Just me and wendy

A strange thing happened today. I have been off work on a few days holiday, the kids were at school or university so me and Wendy got to spend the day with each other, it has been a lovely day we went to a local pub that does great food, 2 for the price of 1. I have a mixed grill it had gammon,steak,chicken and sausages chips and union rings and peas. Wendy had a fishers mans feast, with prawns and battered cod, chips and pea's. Hopefully it will not be too long before we can go again.

time to chat and topics to discuss.
Reflecting on  what has been waiting for what will be
when will this happen we'll have to wait and see.

When sitting rocking white haired and old
grandchild waiting for stories to be told.
No regrets, life is as it should be
