not that you would be really interested but i have nokia e71 mobile phone and this my first post from the phone to my blogg, another good use of technology. May this will encourage to to post more. Life is good and full there is never really any dull moments. Ok what about an instant poem i hear you say. Well here goes.

Mobile by tim young

I stare at a screen
It displays my life
My contacts
The people i know
Yet for all its technology
It does not know the real me.
Iam not sure i know the real me
my feeling are governed
By the side of the bed i get out of.
Some times samll things upset me
Some times nothing does.
But what i do know is there is someone
who knows me, understands me
Accepts me for who i,am
For what iam
My feeling for this person will never alter
Dispite which side of the bed i get out of.
All i know is if i wake up next to her
I know my day will be ok.


Love is good, and its good to be in love. May i ask you a question? If you have a special someone in your life, do you tell them regularly how much you love and appreciate them, if not why not...

Good Enough

Hello Bloggers

I big hello to you all. Firstly I have not up dated my blog in a while I make no apologies but I have not had the time. The murder mystery play is almost ready to be performed, in fact it's on Sat 25th April at 7.00pm. I'm really looking forward to it, a lot of people have put in a lot of hard work,We hope it will be good enough. This will be the third one we have done, the last one had an audience of around 100 people. On my last post I said that later in the year I was hoping to do a play called the siege, well i do not think it will be this year, so may be next year.

Society seams to say
we have to perform
to stay ahead of the game.
Government would have us fear

fear the climate

fear ourselves.
We are always trying to please someone
at the expense of just living,

living for the future.
Lets learn to love ourselves
be happy with ourselves
lets say we are good enough
for each other
good enough for ourselves

I wrote a play a few years back. I'am typing it up over the next few days and later this year I hope to put it on. I will let you all know the date so you can put it in your diary.

Just before Work

HI, Its 7.51am 9 mins before setting out for work on my bicycle. Just got it back mended with a new back wheel, however there is still a fault with it, I think it needs a new crank, and just the crank that rides it. hahaha
have not got much time to write today so I will leave it at that.

Back again

Hi All, I'm back again, I really should get back back to this its been a long time. One thing I have learnt through this is that you have to make posts to get comments, since I have been away I have had I think only one comment two on maybe three. I have just received a comment so thought I'm have to do another entry. I have not been writing much poetry recently. I have been doing a little art work. A local gallery has taken one of my pieces and will be selling it as a limited edition print. My daughter also makes felted jewelery she has sold some to the same gallery and is busy making some more.

Time is Slipping

Hi All

Time is fast going by. The hands of the clock are not waiting for anyone.It seams so long ago now that I have dedicated much time to my blog. I have been busy doing other things, like writing murder mysteries. I have now written 3. When I say murder mysteries I do not mean books ( novels ) I mean plays that are done, while people are having a meal, they then have to decide who did it and why.
Any way I probably will not spent too much in the future doing my blog, that's life ting move and attitude change for me I have other priorities. I don't think I will stop altogether.

See I was right.

I was going to title this blog entry Life..but in my opinion life does not end with a full stop. Any lets not get in to heavy religious discussion here, I'll save that for another time. Here in the UK we are gearing up for Christmas. For me it a magical time of year, I get so excited.
I'm looking forward to 2008 more than I look forward to 2007 and this years has been great.
So stick around its going to be a good one.
Oh yes and one final thing, I became a blood doner today, I gave my first 1 pint of blood. the first of many I hope..

Living life down hill!!! What does this mean???

One thing my mum used to say to me was... " Tim as you get older time goes quicker" she was right time does go quicker, so it is important that we make the most of  NOW. There is no time to stand and regret what could have been, there are always going to be IF's and But's. The future starts today.

Future

I sit and think
a frown on my face
thinking IF's and BUT's
The hands of time
sweeping passed
dragging me to an
uncertain future
but then I think
that's OK
that's what life is about
why worry what has been
when I can shape what will be.
Then when I reach a point
in that uncertain future
when I can look back

There are times in the bible where it say....and having done all...stand...
We face many situations that are out of our control, for  me. I would like to say that God
is with me helping me to stand firm.

This is another post, I guess it was only a matter of time before I came back. It feels good to post again.
My faith is a big part of my life, And I'm not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so
I will be making more of my posts with a Christian flavor.

Hi All please forgive me for not adding anything to my blog in a long while, life is busy and full.
I can't and won't promise to post alot, as I will be busy preparing for my trip to india in jan. I have a few sermons to write so that I may share with them what God is doing in the UK. I hope that I will be a blessing to them.

Holiday

On the 2ND of October it will be my 25Th wedding anniversary. Wendy and me are going to Menorca, we are flying out on the 26.09.07 and coming back a week later. I'am so excited I can hardly sleep. LOL...I know i have not written much on here recently but i hope i will post the poems i will write whilst out in Menorca and post a few pic of our trip. Anyway thanks for reading.

In seven weeks i will be on holiday in Menorca. Just me and Wendy, our first holiday abroad together and with out the kids, it will be our 25 wedding anniv and my 44th birthday, so it will be a holiday to remember, I can't wait, hopefully I will be inspired to write loads of poetry and do some some drawing.
Any way how are you all hope I find you all well and having a good time. Its the summer holidays here in the UK. so the children are not at school and those who have just left school are waiting for their exam results. My son Nathanael is waiting for his, I'm not sure if he's excited or nervous.

Oh no not nother post,

Hi... how are you all. I dont know ifI said in a previous post, but the reason I got so may pictures done over  the last month was because I trapped a nerve in my back, I was off work for 4 weeks, any way I'm back at work but still on painkillers and still using my amazing TENS machine.
The above photo is from a recent trip to the Lake district. The very last post on the fence was hit by me, first time with a stone after my friend Steve
challenged me that I would not be able to hit it. Any way folks I'm off to get  ready for work. See you all soon
